What this page is
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This statement is not a certification, a VPAT, or an Accessibility Conformance Report. It does not claim that the site conforms to WCAG, the Americans with Disabilities Act, California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act, or Section 508, and it does not promise a legal safe harbor.
A technical review of the website source was recorded on November 6, 2026. Automated checks can miss barriers. A result with no reported rule failures is not the same as full conformance.
What was checked
- Every public URL in the sitemap, plus the 404 page, in a local build of this site.
- Automated WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules in Chromium using axe-core and Playwright, with the optional accessibility panel closed and its settings at their defaults.
- Keyboard checks in Chromium for the skip link, mobile menu, appointment form errors, and the accessibility options panel, including focus order and returning focus when those panels close.
- Spot checks for page titles, headings, landmarks, link and button names, image alternative text, form labels, zoom reflow at a narrow width, text spacing, reduced motion, and touch-target rules included in axe-core.
What was not checked
No screen reader was used. VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, and TalkBack were not tested. A person who uses assistive technology did not review the site, and neither an accessibility specialist nor legal counsel signed off on it.
The automated browser was Chromium. Safari, Firefox, and older browsers were not included. Windows High Contrast / forced-colors mode, magnifiers, voice control, and switch access were not tested by a person.
Optional display settings
The Accessibility options button lets a visitor change text size, line height, alignment, font, grayscale, contrast, a reading mask, image visibility, animation, link highlighting, focus outline, and cursor size on this device only. Choices are saved in the browser until they are reset. They are optional. The site is intended to be usable with every option left off. The button is not an overlay product, and turning it on does not make the site certified or compliant.
Some options change contrast or hide images on purpose. The reading mask dims most of the page. Hide images also removes alternative text from the accessibility tree. A larger cursor depends on the browser. Press Escape while the options panel is closed to turn the reading mask off, or open the panel and choose Reset all.
Known limits
- Screen reader behavior, including Next.js client-side page announcements, has not been verified.
- The appointment form checks entries in the browser and opens the visitor’s own email app. It does not send a message from this website. There is no separate accessibility email address.
- Address links open Google Maps in a new tab. The Maps site is outside this website.
- A decorative grid sits behind some dark panels. Sampled text colors on the underlying colors passed WCAG AA contrast when calculated, but an automated tool could not score every pixel of that pattern.
- No flashing content was found in the page source. A specialist did not perform a seizure review.
